Episode 41 - Worship: Living in Awe of God
Back to the Basics: Worship
Today is the last episode in our Back to the Basics Series! During the month of September, we’ve talked about some core spiritual disciplines we all should be practicing: journaling, prayer, Bible intake. And this week, we are talking about worship.
When we think about worship, we think of living in awe of God: morning, noon, and night.
We are living right with an all-inspired view of who our God is.
As AJ says, worship is really about recognizing His majesty, His glory, His beauty, His power, His amazingness, His holiness, His set-apartness.
We are to live in awe. And that is what defines worship.
In today’s episode you’ll hear:
- How can we grasp the full scope of worship,
- The importance of understanding what worship is
- A snippet from guest Melanie Redd about How Worship Transformed Her Perspective.
… and MUCH MORE!

QUOTES
“Worship changes our perspective because worship is a posture of our hearts.” - Melanie Redd.
“It would be very difficult to draw a line between holy wonder and real worship; for when the soul is overwhelmed with the majesty of God’s glory, though it may not express itself in song, or even utter its voice with bowed head and humble prayer, yet it silently adores.” - Charles H. Spurgeon
